First Guests

Here’s the first dinner we did for guests in our newly renovated Heck’s Kitchen and dining room.

Heck’s Kitchen Dinner Menu

Appetizer

Tuna tataki on a sesame ginger sauce with romaine hearts dressed with a cabernet vinaigrette.

First Entrée

Maple-wasabi broiled salmon fillet served with vine-ripened tomatoes, fresh basil, and sheep feta, and Brussels’ sprouts.

Wine: 2001 Southbrook Pinot Noir

Second Entrée

Grilled sea bass with a hint of five-spice served with saffron risotto and grilled asparagus.

Wine: 1999 Southbrook Lailey Vineyards Chardonnay

Dessert

Maple sugar butter tart pie.

Wine: The last known bottle of Inniskilin Fleur d’Ontario 1988.
