One of the most annoying things about renovations is that they attract the sawdust bunny. This highly prolific creature not only is drawn to renovations, but eats, breeds, and hides in every possible place in your home. A short-lived relative, the drywall dust bunny, shows up for short periods, but is almost immediately eaten by plumber snakes.
Captured here (un-retouched photograph), in its actual habitat, Oryctolagus uncinatum x pinus, is a cross-breed between the rare Brazilian Jatoba Sawdust Bunny and the common North American Pine Dust Bunny. We’re not sure when this particular cross first happened, but knowing bunnies, it’s probably happened often.
