Here's where we're going to go into the gory details about the renovation of Heck's Kitchen. Right now, the best place to start is to take a look at the before images, the current blog , the project blog, and the Design Process. The cabinets are on order and being manufactured. That's currently driving the timing of the project.

Phase Two - Now Make it Look Awesome

This phase is decorating and augmenting. There's no real pressure to this one, as long as the place is fully functional. Keep an eye open for developments and pictures of the demolition on the Current page and management of the project on the project page.

Phase One - Build a Four Chef Kitchen

The renovation started on February 5^th at 7:30am, slightly early. We took an extra day to declare victory on this, because of the delays on the cabinets, but eight days ahead on an eight week project is pretty darn good.

The kitchen and dining room are officially open and we can actually have a civilized meal. We're all very relieved and see the light at the end of the tunnel. We've already been cooking in our new stove kitchen, and Kris is completely freaked out about the new microwave - she doesn't believe what it's capable of doing. Now, if I could only convince her about the Salamander and Wood Burning Pizza/Bagel oven...
